Şişecam Mersin Brine Facility

As part of Şişecam’s major chemical infrastructure expansion in Mersin, Turkey, this industrial project encompasses the Mersin Soda Factory capacity expansion (bringing production capacity to 1.7 million tons), the construction and pipeline integration of salt extraction wells and the 3C2 Salt Processing Plant, and an innovative industrial wastewater recycling initiative utilizing treated effluent from the MESKİ Karaduvar Wastewater Facility for factory processes. The mechanical contracting scope delivered comprehensive MEP and heavy industrial piping installations tailored for chemical manufacturing operations. Technical execution encompassed high-pressure process piping, brine and raw material transport lines, industrial chemical distribution, utility piping (steam, cooling water, compressed air), electrical and instrumentation installations, pumping stations, process wastewater treatment piping, and automated plant control integration to support continuous, eco-friendly chemical production.
