Garabogaz Ammonia and Urea Production

Description

Situated in Garabogaz in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan, the Fertiliser Plant stands as Central Asia’s largest chemical facility dedicated to ammonia and granulated urea production. Operating with annual design capacities of 1,155,000 tons of urea and 660,000 tons of synthetic ammonia using natural gas feedstock, the complex incorporates a 10,000-ton ammonia storage unit, 100,000-ton urea storage warehouses, seawater desalination plants, and a high-capacity gas turbine generator. The mechanical execution encompassed 70,000 WDI of aboveground chemical process piping, underground utility networks, corrosion-resistant FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) piping systems, field storage tank manufacturing and erection, alongside full HVAC and plumbing installations for the industrial complex.
